I think this psalm is very comforting:
Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be moved, but abides for ever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people,
from this time forth and for evermore.

Psalm 19
Last night Mom and I went to women's prayer (Rebekah was too sick :( ). After prayer, Mom went to women's bible study while I spent that time with Sharyssa. We spent some time reading God's Word. She read psalm 19 to me. Here is the first verse:
The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
It was really cool because I was just thinking earlier about the sky and it's Artist. Here are verses 7-14:
The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple;
8 the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
9 the fear of the Lord is clean,
enduring for ever;
the rules of the Lord are true,
and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can discern his errors?
Declare me innocent from hidden faults.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins;
let them not have dominion over me!
Then I shall be blameless,
and innocent of great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Amen.

Psalm 111
I've been reading through the psalms lately. I love this one. It tells of the works of the Lord. My thoughts turn toward nature and it's wonders. But maybe you will think of something different. However that may be, I want to praise the Lord for His wonders!
Praise the Lord!
I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,
in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
2 Great are the works of the Lord,
studied by all who delight in them.
3 Full of splendor and majesty is his work,
and his righteousness endures for ever.
4 He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered;
the Lord is gracious and merciful.
5 He provides food for those who fear him;
he remembers his covenant for ever.
6 He has shown his people the power of his works,
in giving them the inheritance of the nations.
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy;
8 they are established for ever and ever,
to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness.
9 He sent redemption to his people;
he has commanded his covenant for ever.
Holy and awesome is his name!

all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures for ever!

Psalm 106
I love the way the psalmist turns this psalm into a story. And I'm reminded how steadfast my God is!
This is a rather long psalm, but I hope you take the time to read it.
